Here Jan Depreter appraises one of the Kent Guitar Classics ‘Cadenza’ models which are made for them in England by Stephen Eden. Primarily made with talented teenagers with limited guitar budget in mind, these guitars are cosmetically but tastefully simple yet constructed with high quality timbers, constructional precision and are also shellac french-polished. By cutting workshop hours right down, these hand-made instruments have a much more expensive sound than their student guitar price.
