  • Comments:

A huge amount of information about this well-respected German maker, can be found at http://www.studia-instrumentorum.de/MUSEUM/WEISSGERBER/weissg_summary.htm and a book by Christof Hanusch was recently published in Germany. The maker produced a wide range of styles of guitar and some were used for many years by Siegfried Behrend and Shin-ichi Fukuda for example.
This one is a more 'spanish' model, with a surprising strength of sound for a shorter-scale guitars and with sweet tone.
