Flamed maple - a one-piece back with some bird's eye figuring. Very attractive wood with a lovely golden honey colour. Simple yet elegant purflings and bindings.
European spruce - with the normal book-matched halves. Slim rosette with matching purflings
Unidentified make; presumably original, with small white buttons on a black painted head.

In remarkable condition, assuming the year to be 1926-1927. Seemingly in original condition and with the original polish, there are no repairs, no cracks and relatively few marks.

The maker produced a wide range of styles of guitar and some were used for many years by Siegfried Behrend and Shin-ichi Fukuda for example.
