This guitar originally had a heavy neck which Stephen has recently re-shaped. Typical of Stephen Frith's craft - a responsive, Hauseresque instrument, quite light in weight, with influences from extensive study with José & Liam Romanillos. Depth of bass comes from the F# body resonance yet it has a productive, well-balanced, interesting treble with clarity, sweetness and sustain. Stephen's guitars offer a wide range of sound from rich deep tasto to bright ponticellos. These are really very good instruments, very comfortable to play and at a very reasonable price.
