What another superb instrument! This is the second of the satinwood models we have had which are amongst the most beautiful we have seen; not just because of the timbers but also Simon's exceptional talent for selecting tasteful, fine decorative details; the choice of line width and colour of the individual elements that bring together a striking whole.
The sound is also very pleasing with an impressive depth of bass from its air resonance down near F and a rounded sweet yet clear, projecting treble. For a brand new guitar this already offers such a variety of tone colour, ideal for the tone-merchants amongst players able to produce a range of expressive musical colour.Simon Ambridge - Click here to find out more about this maker
