This instrument is in good condition.
There is little to report on the head, neck, back & sides except perhaps some polish marks underneath one side possibly from use of a guitar support. (could be touched up).
The front has minor playing / handling marks and one string slip below the bridge. To the treble-side of the rosette are some raised grain-lines which Simon has commented can happen with humidity after polishing.
The physical beauty of Simon Ambridge guitars hits you the moment you open the case. The choice of materials for the details and the supreme level of craftsmanship is very striking. With a body resonance between E and F, the sound is therefore deep and somewhat Hauser-like, yet with singing, sweet trebles that are well in balance balance with the bass.
All round this is just a lovely guitar where the quality of the materials, craftsmanship, playability and sound all come together in a refined and handsome concert guitar.Simon Ambridge - Click here to find out more about this maker
