Overall the condition is very good with no repairs and no cracks. The back (which has an area of dulled polish from body heat), sides neck and head are in lovely condition with very few marks. The front has playing, nail-end and handling marks - of the sort that is mainly in the polish and shows when the light is reflecting from it.
This is a really lovely guitar, with a light-in-weight feel and traditional, rounded sound. I find the neck shape very pleasing and the whole guitar very comfortable to play. The cosmetic and aesthetic details even on this earlier Ambridge instrument are really lovely and tasteful; something for which Simon has been consistently-famed throughout his career.
