  Very beautiful rosewood with striking colours and grain character. Snakewood centre strip, boxwood purflings with snakewood bindings to the back and sides.

• Front:

  European spruce - a really active top with, golden colour, even grain and lots of medullary rays showing it to be well-quarter-sawn and with an attractive rosette.

• Tuners:

  Nicolo Alessi with Hauser-shaped sideplates and ebony buttons.

• Scale:

  65cm. With 20th fret.

• Neck Width:

  52 mm at the nut. Ebony fingerboard.

• Weight:

  1642 grams

• Condition:

  New.

• Comments:

  This is one of a pair of guitars that Rik produced recently, each having a lower body air resonance around F# and a sweeter, more free treble than others. His instruments are always very finely crafted and with much thought in the process. The curves and cambers of the fingerboard and frets for example are very precisely done, aiming for ultimate playability.
