Ricardo Sanchis Carpio - Valencia

  • Year:

    1995 - model 2AF - number 185-10

  • Body:

    Spanish cypress - very straight-grained, good-looking stuff. All lacquer-finished.

  • Front:

Canadian cedar - looks well quarter-sawn. Maker's recognised rosette, original golpeador and rosewood bridge

  • Tuners:

Unidentified make of lyre pattern machine tuners with white synthetic pearl buttons.

  • Scale:

657mm. 19 frets on an ebony fingerboard

  • Neck Width:

    51 mm at the nut

  • Weight:

    1255 grams

  • Condition:

This is in really good, original condition without repairs or cracks or bad marks. There are only minor marks here and there; nothing of significance. Very clean and shiny for more than fifteen years old.

  • Comments:

This is a really gutsy flamenco guitar with deep bass and crisp, in-balance trebles. The set-up and playability is also very good.
Has to be a really good value-for-money flamenco, in very good, original and well-cared-for condition, providing authentic feel and sound without busting the bank.
