  • Comments:

This Philip Woodfield Grand Concert II model is designed with power and volume in mind for the professional or ensemble player, giving a rich, full yet clear sound. Players such as Raymond Burley and Marcin Dylla speak very highly about the volume, balance and sustain of the lattice-fronted Grand Concert models.
These are certainly strong instruments with a pleasing, nearer-traditional sound; much more so than many lattice guitars. They also respond well when played softly and sensitively. All together an impressive concert guitar with fine materials and striking appearance.
This particular one has a deep, full bass, a lively yet rounded treble and seems very 'ready-to-go' for a brand new instrument.
