    Honduran rosewood - medium depth colours and attractive grain patterns. With Philip's twist motif in the back centre-strip and snakewod bindings. There are also two soundports on the top of the body, either side of the neck.

    European spruce - exceptional, really silky and well quarter-sawn ... extraordinary quality spruce. Romanesque vine rosette and rosewood bridge with matching tie-block decoration.

  • Tuners:

    Nicolo Alessi - Hauser shape, with engraved sideplates and snakewood buttons mounted on the ebony-faced head.

  • Scale:

    65cm with 19 frets on the ebony fingerboard

  • Neck Width:

    51 mm at the nut

  • Weight:

    1840 grams

    Mint, new, not a mark, pristine .... fabulous.
    All shellac french-polished.

    Well someone is going to be in luck finding such a strong and beautiful instrument in pristine condition.
    Being of lattice construction, this is a loud, fairly bright instrument with impressive projection. On first playing you immediately think that you have a cannon on your lap, yet at the same time it is capable of sensitive and beautiful sounds.
