In very good condition - no repairs, no cracks, hardly any marks. The top appears to have been re-polished at some time - although the colour looks original and there are no obvious residues of serious marks or scratches under the polish and no tell-tale signs around the soundhole.
One area about 11cm * 5cm on the bottom centre of the front is rough where the polish has contacted a pad in the lid of the case. There are some milky patches in part of the back polish.

  • Comments:

The Bernabé 'Concierto' concert guitars are well known and have been popular over along period. This one has a particularly pleasing balance and good 1st string by comparison with others recently seen and played. Although obviously Spanish in character, they have a nobility of sound which is very appealing. With a comfortable 65cm scale, playability is good - and with a strong sound, this is a worthy concert guitar that is very enjoyable to play.
