  • Comments:

Like the lower-priced model 3a, these guitars are designed and specified by Otto Vowinkel and are made in Spain under his guidance and quality control requirements. They are very well executed, with woods that are of a more selected quality than the 3a. Everything in the construction is tidy and accurate. The neck shape is pleasing, the ebony fingerboard and fret positioning are precise, giving excellent intonation accuracy and set up for comfortable playing. The treble sound is clear, bright and nicely-rounded for a new spruce guitar. The basses are crisp and focussed and the whole is well-balanced. These are very high quality in terms of appearance, playability and sound - also extremely good value for money and highly-recommended
