  2019 - number 97. Labelled, dated, numbered and signed by the maker.

• Body:

  Indian Rosewood - lovely, straight-grained quality, with double-line, steamed pearwood purflings with rosewood bindings. Central American cedar neck.
  Body length:- 486mm.
  Top bout:- 275 mm wide & 94 mm deep.
  Waist:- 235 mm & 98 mm deep.
  Bottom bout:- 364 mm wide & 98 mm deep.
  All shellac french-polished to high standard.

• Front:

  European spruce, from Switzerland - a top of characterful spruce with much medullary figuring - chosen to have Oren's preferred stiffness and weight for optimal sound quality. Oren's lovely geometric rosette has had a revision recently to make the inner segments smaller and more fine-detailed. Rosewood bridge with bone-edged tie block capping. All shellac french-polished.

• Tuners:

  Nicolo Alessi - with stainless steel sideplates and ebony buttons

• Scale:

  65cm. 19 frets on an ebony fingerboard (with 20th black fret for the 1st string)

• Neck Width:

  52mm at the nut with 43 mm string spacing.

• Weight:

  1460 grams

• Condition:

  New. All french-polished.

• Comments:

  Oren Myers is a maker who for some years now is consistently producing guitars that have real refinement and are beautifully made. It is some time since he had guidance and mentoring from Christopher Dean and has clearly now established independent consistency of build quality and sound. The woodcraft and polishing is to a very high standard and the sound is refined with excellent balance, consistency through the range and a depth of bass with air resonance around F#. They are also very pleasing aesthetically in terms of head-shape, body proportions & tasteful decoration.
  Most importantly, the feel, balance, set-up and sound qualities are really very appealing. If you want a refined, comfortable guitar then here are qualities you would expect to pay much more for. They have been played by Gerald Garcia, Marcin Dylla and a recent one we sold is being extensively played by Daniela Rossi.
