• Body:

  Dark, East Indian rosewood with feathered purfling and back centre-strip with rosewood bindings. The sides are cypress-lined.
  Body length:- 491 mm.
  Top bout:- 283 mm wide & 98 mm deep.
  Waist:- 242 mm
  Bottom bout:- 370 mm wide & 101 mm deep.

• Front:

  With Canadian cedar - Nomex - cedar sandwich-top construction ('layered-top', as Michael prefers to call it) with 5-fan struts. Attractive rosette and matching purflings. Rosewood bridge with bone-framed tie-block.

• Tuners:

  Gotoh 35GC510C-P tuning machines with synthetic ivory buttons

• Scale:

  64cm with 19 frets on an ebony fingerboard - and 20th fret for the 1st string.

• Neck Width:

  52mm at the nut with 43 mm string spacing.

• Weight:

  1882 grams

• Condition:

  Sold as a used instrument, this guitar is in very good condition, with just four or five of the very faintest of marks and some polish dulling. We believe the body to be varnished rather than shellac french-polished and has nearer egg-shell finish to the front.

• Comments:

  From a maker that has for many years enjoyed a world-wide reputation, this is a rich, loud and penetrating concert guitar. On first playing, it is obviously powerful with warmth in the bass and brightness of treble. It also offers a quick right-hand response which many players on the competition circuit are looking for.
  So - a strong, professional level, concert instrument with the benefit of the shorter, more comfortable to play 64 cm scale length to attract performer and aficionado alike.
