Rodgers tuning machines with engraved brass sideplates, white buttons and white mother-of-pearl buttons, all mounted on a rosewood-faced head.

53mm at the nut with 43.5 mm string spacing.

  • Weight:

    1725 grams

  • Condition:

The guitar is in very good, well-cared-for condition.
The front was re-polished with shellac by Peter Barton some time ago.

  • Comments:

The guitars of Masaru Kohno have always been very well-respected for their precision of build, their uniformity and balance of sound throughout the range and have been used by many professionals over the years.
This one is particularly even and well-balanced with great clarity throughout.
Sensibly-priced, this represents the top end of Japanese lutherie.
