The back and sides are in original condition. The back has quite a lot of surface impressions from buttons and belt. The sides are in really good state with few marks. The front has the original golpeador and quite a lot, but no more than typical extent, of marks from playing and string-changing, remembering this is a guitar used by a good and regular player and dance accompanist.

  • Comments:

The legendary flamenco guitars of Manuel Reyes have many fans of those from the late 60's and early 70's.
This is another fine Reyes blanca with plenty of flamenco 'bite and bark'. It has a very quick, penetrating treble with a really lyrical, melancolic quality. The bass and middle are also well focussed; able to produce aggresive rasgueado sound.
Suitable for professional players and aficionados alike, these instruments are increasingly difficult to find.
