This is a secondhand guitar in very nearly new, original condition. You have to look hard to find very small marks - and the surface of the golpeador is dulled from a bit of normal playing.
Manuel Caceres Pizarro was one of the well-known Ramirez journeymen going back to the 1960's. As an independent artisan, he has been equally respected for high quality classical and flamenco guitars with much of his output committed to the Japanese market. For about 12 years he worked very closely with Arcangel Fernandez, from whom he sourced much of his timbers. You can also see reference to Arcangel and to Marcelo Barbero in the head shape.
This very fine example displays quality everywhere; in the materials, the constructional details and in the sound.Manuel Caceres - Click here to find out more about this maker
