2006 - 'Kira'
Very attractive rosewood / pau ferro without centre-strip to maximise the dramatic effect. The back and sides are well-matched and have an oil finish; like the rest of the guitar.
This is the larger of two models with a 364mm wide bottom bout.
European spruce of fine quality with a very beautiful geometric rosette. Oil finished.
David Rodgers with engraved brass sideplates and white mother-of-pearl buttons
65cm
52mm at the nut. The head is attached to the neck with a Vee-joint.
1525 grams
The vast majority of this instrument is as new, mint, original condition - the only exception being some small nail marks on the edge of the front by the bindings; two or three on either side of the neck - otherwise this very handsome guitar looks like new.
This is an immediately impressive guitar from Kevin Aram. It has a free and open sound with a treble that sings and sustains sweetly as well as having a clear and deep bass that holds on well to the bottom octave of each note. The body air resonance is near F# which gives a depth of bass but without loss of overall balance.
From selection of wood, decorative details and sound quality, this is simply an exceptionally fine and beautiful concert guitar.Kevin Aram - Click here to find out more about this maker
