Very attractive Indian rosewood with contrasting, centre-strip and bindings with lovely warm colour (yew?). The back and sides have an oil finish; like the whole of the guitar.
This is the larger of two models with a 363mm wide bottom bout.
European Spruce carrying a very elegant bridge, subtle purflings and fine-detailed rosette. All highly attractive and tasteful. 7 fan-strut construction.
Beautiful David Rodgers tuners with white mother-of-pearl buttons mounted on a rosewood-faced head.
65cm with 19 frets on an ebony fingerboard
52mm at the nut with 44 mm string spacing.
1397 grams
With barely any signs of playing, this is as new, original condition.
Kevin Aram's guitars are well known and much admired. His choice of materials, quality of woodcraft and sound are widely-recognised as being of the highest standards. This one has an approximately F body resonance giving depth and character to the bass. It has really good balance and with a treble that has sparkle and excellent clarity. This is a very musical instrument, with depth of bass, clear and expressive treble and thoroughly enjoyable to play. In virtually new condition but with much saving in price over a new one.
