Here is a pleasing guitar from Kathrin Hauser, obviously made closely under the guidance of her father. The workmanship, materials and finish are very neat and tidy. A little heavier than the earlier Hauser I's & II's, it nevertheless has a full and warm bass and middle from an air resonance just below G. This guitar has never really been played and feels as a new guitar, thus needing some regular playing to further open out the first string which has clarity and a good tonal quality already. So - a Hauser dynasty instrument, beautifully-made and with lots of potential.
