  • Comments:

These spruce guitars are of course are extremely similar to those of his uncle Antonio Marin Montero. These satinwood guitars are crisp, focussed, quick and with good bass depth. There is some difference from the rosewood guitars though the different character is hard to put into words - but we love it and so did the client who bought the first and second ones. They have clarity, good volume, some warmth and are very responsive when wanting tone changes. I have no doubt that the sound and general quality of José's guitars have really come up to the equal of Antonios in the last two or three years. Because of the frequency with which we buy guitars from this workshop and the fact that we go to check and collect every one, we are offered the best of the materials and quality of set-up which makes a difference for you the buyer.
