Indian rosewood - dark, very straight-grained and highly attractive with a tapered centre fillet - beautifully done. Rosewood bridge.
European spruce of oustanding quality - with masses of medullary figuring showing over the full width of the top. The rosette pattern is as his classicals but with reversed colours. With golpeador of course. Extremely dark rosewood bridge.

New. All shellac french-polished - very well done. A highly attractive, classy-looking guitar. Pictures to follow.
This is a real peach of a flamenco negra - with some depth and darkness because of the Indian rosewood yet very flamenco with crisp, high quality trebles. This is a guitar that José started in December 2008. Where normally he is totally occupied with ordered guitars, both classical and flamenco, he just fancied making a really good flamenco negra in between others being made as he had not been asked to make one for a while. And here it is - a really impressive, professional level flamenco guitar made with very high quality materials.
