In very good original condition. No repairs, cracks or re-polishing.
The back shows a little misting under the polish, probably associated with the grain-filling.
The front polish has some crackling / crazing and four or five longitudinal broken lines in the surface. There are some normal playing marks
This is a very fine example of a late 60's Fleta in original finish.
From a point of view of sound, it is impressive with a quick and lively treble response and a particularly crisp, focussed bass and middle. Tuned down to D the bass is magnificent.
These famed instruments were favoured by many of the greatest players including Andres Segovia and John Williams.Ignacio Fleta - Click here to find out more about this maker
