East Indian rosewood. High quality, straight-grained timber showing colours of reddish browns. Slim double-line purfling with rosewood bindings.

Bottom bout:- 363 mm wide & 94 mm deep.
All shellac french-polished.
Canadian cedar - fine-grained timber carrying the well-recognised Fleta design rosette, rosewood bridge with bone-framed tie-block cap. All shellac french-polished.
Fustero with engraved brass side-plates and synthetic pearl buttons.
65cm with 19 frets on an ebony fingerboard
53mm at the end of the fingerboard with 43mm string spacing.

This instrument is in very good condition. Apart from an insignificant, 2 cm surface crack that runs from the edge of the rosette on the bass side, the guitar is free of repairs, other cracks or re-polishing. There is a string ding below the tie-block; 3rd string.
This was the first Fleta owned and played by Ernesto Bitetti. With the sale is a vinyl recording of his performance of the Rodrigo Concierto de Aranjuez with this specific guitar.
