Indian rosewood of high quality - dark in colour, straight-grained and quarter-sawn. The purfling to back & sides is in Hauser I layout.

Bottom bout:- 365 mm wide & 100 mm deep.
Finished in nitro varnish.
European spruce - a very silky, characterful top typical of the Hausers of earlier periods, carrying one of the well-recognised rosettes and matching purfling. Rosewood bridge with bone-edged tie-block capping.
Reischl - Lansdorfer with fish-scale patterned, nickel silver side-plates, white rollers and white mother-of-pearl buttons.
646mm with 19 frets on an ebony fingerboard.

The guitar is is extremely clean and tidy, original condition with absolutely minimal playing and handling marks.
Needing no introduction, the guitars of the Hauser dynasty and of Hermann Hauser III are very well-known and respected. This guitar made in year 2000 has very fine materials and comfortable set-up.
