Hermann Hauser III of Reisbach - Germany

  • Year:

1995 'Dream' model - or referred to as the Romero or Rodriguez model by some people.

  • Body:

Indian Rosewood - rich colour and strong grain with typical Hauser decoration.

  • Front:

Cedar of super quality with straight and even grain, characteristic Hauser rosette, double green purflings and bindings.

  • Tuners:

Reishle - Lansdorfer pattern with white mother-of-pearl buttons mounted on a characteristic Hauser-shaped headstock.

  • Scale:

    655mm

  • Neck Width:

    53mm at the nut

  • Condition:

Very good. The back, sides, head and fingerboard are virtually as new. The front has shallow playing marks; nothing that goes through to the wood or spoils the overall appearance and there are some shallow scratches on the back of the neck in the 3rd & 4th fret area.

  • Comments:

This is a strong concert guitar with a significantly larger, more projecting voice and larger, different-shaped body than the maker's Segovia Hauser models. It is loud, deep and strong with a clear and penetrating treble. The balance is good and left hand comfort is excellent. An excellent instrument for performer and enthusiast of Hauser dynasty guitars at affordable price.
