In good condition - this instrument is fundamentally repair and crack free - with two very minor exceptions .... a 12mm flaw in the end of the bass rib as it joins the neck-block; likely to have been there from day one ... similarly a short and tight grain line crack in the lower back. Both of these are totally insignificant.
Other than normal and mainly superficial playing wear, little else to report. The pegs are original and work well. The golpeador has been changed at some stage and has some slight misting underneath.
Having said all that detail - it looks and is very good.
The sound is typical Gerundino, rasping and aggressive but with plaintive, lyrical treble sound when in the hands of a capable player. Choice of strings of course can make a significant difference too. This good example has been professionally but respectfully played, so has nothing more than normal, superficial play wear and a terrific sound.
