Traditional rosewood peg-head, with the well-renowned head-crest carving and with the Gerundino stamp on the back. The carving on the top front of the head is a little off-centre as so many were as his eye-sight appeared to have deteriorated in the later part of his making career.

This flamenco guitar, for its 28 years, is in very good condition. The back and sides are very close to as-new, with just a few shallow marks on the edge. There are a few shallow marks on the back of the neck. The front is also lovely and has very modest playing and handling wear.
This is one where anyone should feel lucky to find such a good-sounding Gerundino in really good condition. The sound is typical Gerundino, rasping and aggressive but with plaintive, lyrical treble sound when in the hands of a capable player. Choice of strings of course can make a significant difference too. For those seeking Gerundino, you'll struggle to find better.
