  • Comments:

These Gernot Wagner double-top guitars are certainly powerful but with an impressive clarity, balance and refinement that many other modern construction instruments do not have. Although less famous than the Dammann guitars that were first produced based on Gernot Wagner's pioneering, technological developments, they really do need to be equally recognised as the sound quality and refinement of these instruments is right up there. The workmanship and attention to detail, both inside and outside are of impeccable standard.
With body air resonance around F#, this powerful guitar has a real depth of sound combined with a clear, incisive and well-projecting treble making it suitable for soloist or ensemble performer alike. At the same time it responds well to pianissimo playing; something that many modern guitars are not good at.
An exceptional quality instrument that could be the envy of many professional performers.
