New. All shellac french-polished and looking simply charming; so reminiscent of the Manuel Ramirez and Santos Hernandez guitars of the 1910-1925 period.
Always having been enchanted by the early 20th century Madrid guitars, Gerhard Oldiges has produced several of this style of guitar with great success.
By comparison with the Hauser-style guitar and typical modern-day guitars, this 'Spanish' style has a smaller body and a deep, sweet, rounded sound characteristic of the period that inspires this design.
One of the most attractive instruments to look at, very comfortable to play and with a delightful, old-world sound, this is a guitar that would appeal to someone prone to falling in love with high-level, handcrafted instruments ... yet at the same time such a guitar is a treat in the concert hall.Gerhard Oldiges - Click here to find out more about this maker
"I would love to go through the process of buying a good guitar from Miles at KGCL because he really knows his stuff. But actually, I make them and so enjoy seeing my guitars amongst such a very fine selection of extremely good instruments. I feel very honoured that they are presented at Kent Guitar Classics."
