Here is a very fine Fritz Ober guitar with immense physical beauty and impressive musical qualities. With an air resonance at F, it has real bass depth, a strong middle and clear, projecting trebles. Although never copying one specific instrument, Fritz Ober's guitars are very much in the style of Hermann Hauser combined with some aspects of Torres guitars in mind. The plantilla / soundboard shape is very Hauseresque with some reference also to those of Manuel Ramirez and Antonio de Torres.
It has immediate impact because of its open response. On playing more, you continue to find impressive qualities, balance, flexibility, focus, weight of each note etc. A really fine and handsome example in lovely condition.Fritz Ober - Click here to find out more about this maker
