Overall the condition is very good. The back and sides are in lovely condition with hardly any marks. The back of the neck and head have some really very small marks. The front has some playing and handling marks - of the sort that is mainly in the polish and shows only when the light is reflecting from it.
This is a fine guitar from Dominique Field made for his wife, professional guitarist Catherine Liolios. It was started in 2008 but being worked on in between customer orders, it was finally completed later in 2010. You will imagine that such a guitar made for Catherine was done with some extra care and attention to detail.
With an order list of more than 10 years, his recent instruments have been very difficult to find and are sought-after by players and collectors alike. They are amongst the very strongest sound-projecting yet traditionally-built concert guitars available anywhere in the world. Their sound is very even, pure and focussed allowing the accomplished player to find his / her own colours. This particular one is an obviously strong, loud instrument with a bright, clear sound that at the same time facilitates tone variety - worthy of many a professional concert player.
This is a rare opportunity to have a highly-refined concert guitar from a maker whose reputation for impeccable quality of construction is rarely equalled.Dominique Field - Click here to find out more about this maker
