  European spruce - silky, well quarter-sawn and carrying the well-recognised Rubio floral rosette.

• Tuners:

  Lansdorfer - Reichl tuners set into a rosewood-faced head with the classic Rubio shape and detail.

• Scale:

  65cm

• Neck Width:

  52mm at the nut

• Condition:

  In extremely good, original condition, this guitar had been very well looked after and shows very little playing wear. There are no cracks and no repairs. The neck which was very deep and heavy has been slimmed to really improve playing comfort. The front has the original thinly-appled, coloured lacquer finish which has some crazing; not very noticeable.

• Comments:

  It is lovely to find good Rubio workshop guitars in such fine condition. The sound is refined and aristocratic. Balance is very good with a deep focussed bass and a clear, sustaining treble, excellent when tuned down to D. Not easy to find these 1970's guitars in such good condition.
