Indian rosewood, with an attractive reddish hue. The absence of back centre strip shows off the beauty of the timber. The purfling is maple.

Top bout:- 260 mm wide & 96 mm deep.
Waist:- 218 mm & 99 mm deep.
Bottom bout:- 353 mm wide & 99 mm deep.

European spruce - of high quality, with plenty of medulliary ray in evidence. Very attractive geometric rosette with a centre twist motif. Rosewood bridge with 2 hole-per-string tie system option.
Waverly-Sloane with ivoroid buttons mounted on a head faced with ebony.
64cm - for players with smaller hands, with 19 frets on an ebony fingerboard/
51mm at the nut, with 42mm string spacing. The nut has individual string cut-backs for compensated tuning. Personally I find these guitars have superb neck shape and depth for optimum playing comfort.

In good, original condition, free of repairs or cracks.
There are superficial handling and playing marks, all of which is quite light ... on the back there are fine button marks and on the front, light playing and string-changing marks.
All shellac french polished.
These Daniele Chiesa 64 cm scale guitars are simply outstanding - little gems. As well as the shorter scale, they have a slightly reduced size body and narrower neck - but the quantity and quality of sound is really remarkable. The depth and richness of sound, the spontaneity and projection are the equal of the longer scale guitars and so there is no loss of sound quality to be paid for the short-scale comfort. Daniele is a highly experienced and talented maker whose guitars are beautifully made both in terms of construction detail and aesthetic. Really musical guitars which are delightful to look at and fine performance instruments.
This guitar was bought from us in 2008 and is a reluctant sale due to hand heath difficulties.Daniele Chiesa - Click here to find out more about this maker
"The close relationship Miles Roberts has with us, the makers, results in producing some quite special and unique instruments that we otherwise would not have made. Knowing more about music than the average maker, and understanding our trade better than most guitarists, Miles is the perfect bridge between the two. I am proud to have my instruments promoted and sold by Kent Guitar Classics. Lo stretto rapporto che Miles ha con noi liutai ci permette di realizzare strumenti speciali che probabilmente non faremmo altrimenti. Con una migliore conoscenza della musica che molti liutai e della liuteria che molti chitarristi, Miles è il perfetto mediatore tra i due. Sono molto contento che i miei strumenti siano offerti da Kent Guitar Classics."
