No repairs or cracks. The back, sides and neck are in very good and attractive condition. The front has numerous playing marks, nicks and knocks from many years of professional concert and recording use. These have not substantially broken the surface and are only really noticeable when the light shines in a certain way
This is a very strong, performers concert guitar originally owned by Frenchman Gerard Abiton and more recently his friend the Norwegian, Martin Haug both of whom have recently received new guitars from Daniel Friederich. Full of refinement, clarity and power, this is a very fine example of a Friederich made in the middle period of his outstanding making career. The extent of professional use of this instrument is a testament to its remarkable sound qualities
