2007 - Torres model
Highly attractive, figured maple with very even markings and much medullary ray; the whole appearance enhanced by the absence of any centre-strip. With purflings comprising a slim feather effect and outer green line that are matched on the back, both edges of the sides, the front and through to the borders of the rosette and also in the head decoration. All shellac french-polished and very beautiful.
European bearclaw spruce with an ambered colour and strikingly lovely rosette. Rosewood bridge with dots on the wings like Torres and bone-capped tie-block.
Nicolo Alessi with Hauser-shaped sideplates and ebony buttons, mounted on a rosewood-faced head with decorative centre-strip.
65cm with 19 frets on an ebony fingerboard
52mm at the nut with 42mm string spacing.
1170 grams - very light.
In original, very lovely condition. No cracks, no repairs, no re-polishing.
Has some very minor little marks here and there - but at a glance looks like new ...... and gorgeous!
This is a most lovely Torres-inspired instrument - both in looks and in sound.
It is very light in weight and has body resonance down around F, hence has a wonderfully deep, old-world sound combined with a sweet, rounded treble; not at all thin or weak.
This is a beautifully-constructed instrument to admire and a most joyful and inspirational guitar to play.Claus Voigt - Click here to find out more about this maker
