Spanish cypress - straight-grained timber with a simple rosewood back centre-strip and bindings. All french-polished to high standard.

Top bout:- 263 mm wide & 87 mm deep.
Waist:- 221 mm & 90 mm deep.
Bottom bout:- 348 mm wide & 91 mm deep. - Front:
European bearclaw spruce - a lightweight, yet stiff top carrying a beautiful Torres-like rosette, refined and delicate purfling and slim, rosewood bridge. All shellac french-polished.
- Tuners:
Waverly-Sloane leaf pattern tuners with white rollers and ivoroid buttons.
- Scale:
645mm with 19 frets on a rosewood fingerboard (as Torres used)
- Neck Width:
50mm at the nut with 41mm string spacing.
- Weight:
1125 grams
- Condition:
In very good condition - some tiny larks if you look closely. All shellac french-polished.

Comments:
This is a lovely instrument, made much in the Torres style and in a spontaneous moment of creativity.
Being light in weight like the originals, it has impressive depth of bass from an air resonance nearer E flat than E, combined with a treble that is quick, spontaneous and rounded.
Not only is the weight and physical balance so similar to originals but the sound has that character too.
