  Spanish cypress - straight-grained, colourful and characterful wood which Christopher had in store for many years waiting for the day to make a fine flamenco guitar. 3-piece back with simple yet elegant purflings and contrasting rosewood bindings. Shellac french-polished.

• Front:

  European spruce - light and silky, carrying a lovely new rosette design, rosewood bridge with bone-capped tie-block, clear golpeador.

• Tuners:

  Fustero with engraved, 'plata vieja' sideplates and ivoroid buttons.

• Scale:

  655mm with 19 frets on the ebony fingerboard

• Neck Width:

  52mm at the nut

• Weight:

  1260 grams - very light, but just right for a high-class flamenco

• Condition:

  New .... and gorgeous - with highly attractive wood and restrained, tasteful decoration.
  All shellac french polished.

  Having seen recently some top-level flamencos guitars of Manuel Reyes, Marcelo Barbero, Jose Ramirez & Gerundino ... and inspired by a fine local flamenco player, Christopher has produced this flamenco guitar - and what a peach!
  This is not a Christopher Dean cypress classical but a true flamenco guitar that is light as a feather and with a sound that has all the guts, quick release of sound, explosive character and plaintive quality that you hope for in a flamenco.
  With very high quality materials, Rodgers tuners, beautiful workmanship and tasteful design, this is a truly super instrument that should appeal to both players and aficionados that recognise beautiful craft when they see it.
