An extremely handsome and elegant instrument.
Here is a very fine, second-hand instrument from Bertrand Ligier who is clearly a talented and determined maker. He is achieving a high level of fine craftsmanship that many makers fail to achieve in a lifetime. With clear influences from Robert Bouchet, there are also design and aesthetic reminders of Dominique Field and Jean-Noël Rohé.
The sound character of this guitar is similarly strong, clear, bright, focussed with good projection. Immediately impressive, it has the energy of some modern construction instruments but with greater facility for tone variety.
A really good instrument and an opportunity to have one from a maker clearly going places.Bertrand Ligier - Click here to find out more about this maker
