• Body:

  Beautiful, straight-grained East Indian rosewood with fine purfling featuring a red-colour Australian Jarra. The fingerboard is elevated over the upper part of the body.
  Body length:- 487 mm.
  Top bout:- 280 mm wide & 97 mm deep.
  Waist:- 235 mm & 101 mm deep.
  Bottom bout:- 374 mm wide & 102 mm deep.
  All shellac french-polished to a very high standard.

• Front:

  European spruce - in fan-braced, double-top (spruce-Nomex-spruce) format with a really good silky top with lots of medullary rays carrying an attractive rosette, slim rosewood bridge with very attractive decoration to the tie-block.

• Tuners:

  Klaus Scheller - model G - high-precision, well-engineered tuners with brushed brass sideplates and ebony buttons, all mounted on a rosewood-faced head.

• Scale:

  65cm with 19 frets on an ebony fingerboard

• Neck Width:

  52mm at the nut with 42 mm string spacing

• Weight:

  1465 grams

• Condition:

  New; all shellac french-polished.
  Very handsome and built with precision.

• Comments:

  Andreas Kirschner is a talented maker and precise craftsman in Germany whose fan-strutted guitars and particularly his double-top guitars are very much in demand with a long waiting list now.
  His guitars display a high level of precision in the building together with a tasteful sense of decoration.
  The sound of these double-top guitars is very focussed, loud and very quick in release of the sound and return of the string that is so important for the fast, virtuosic player.
  This one has a deep sound with air resonance around or just below F# - giving a full depth of bass combined with the clear, strong treble.
  An impressive concert performance instrument designed for the professional performer that is comfortable to play, easy on the eye and sensibly priced.
