  • Comments:

The instruments of Andrea Tacchi have formidable reputation both in terms of wood qualities, quality of construction detail and sound. This Bouchet model is physically very beautiful with highly attractive rosettes from 1950's and 1960's Bouchets and luxurious purflings. The light purfling lines are boxwood and the bindings are of cocobolo. The sound is very refined, rich, smooth, sophisticated with very good sustain and plenty of projection. The body air resonance is around G. These are superb concert guitars inspired by a historic master maker and produced by an artisan whom many regard as one of the finest in the world today. This particular example is outstanding in both departments of sound and appearance despite some marks.
