  2018 - Omaggio a Robert Bouchet - number 402. Labelled, numbered, dated, stamped and signed by the maker.

• Body:

  Brazilian rosewood (with CITES certification) - of the highest quality. Straight-grained with dark colours of black, browns, chocolate and a hint of burnt orange. The purfling is very slim, very refined and elegant.
  Body length:- 482mm.
  Top bout:- 277 mm wide & 91 mm deep.
  Waist:- 235 mm & 93 mm deep.
  Bottom bout:- 366 mm wide & 93 mm deep.
  All shellac french-polished to high standard.

• Front:

  European spruce - a spectacular quality top - fine-grained and so silky, carrying a very elegant Bouchet rosette pattern and matching purfling. The bridge is rosewood with a bone-framed tie-block enclosing a unique motif series which is part of the signature of the instrument.

• Tuners:

  Nicolo Alessi tuners specifically with Bouchet side-plate shape and engraving pattern. The bone buttons have been hand-carved. All mounted on a rosewood-faced, Bouchet-shaped head.

• Scale:

  65cm with 19 frets on an ebony fingerboard with cedar neck.

• Neck Width:

  52mm at the nut with 42.5 mm string spacing.

• Weight:

  1445 grams

  New and pristine.

• Comments:

  The instruments of Andrea Tacchi have been highly-revered and greatly sought-after for a long time now. This guitar serves to demonstrate the high level of craftsmanship, elegance and refinement for which Andrea is so deservedly well-known.
  The sound is rich and velvety, with impressive clarity and sustain. The F# air resonance provides ample depth of bass without taking anything from the 1st string. More to be said about the sound when it has chance to settle.
  With few instruments being produced each year and with a long waiting list, any new owner is surely very fortunate.
