It is with immense sadness that we hear of the passing last evening, of the great maestro Julian Bream. He was a true master of an instrument that was meant for him and he for it. His legacy will live forever and his inspiration to many others will go down in history. Any man that manages to aquire a Herman Hauser for a fiver was blessed by God to have it and to play it extraordinary well. No doubt he's now teaching the angels how to pluck their harps. So sad he's gone

Maestro, I sat on my sofa and shed tears when i learned of your death. The sadest day in my life for a long time. Your artistry and mischievous boyish charm will live on forever.

Julian you will be remembered with great fondness, Thank you for introducing us to such a varied repertoire.
He was a true master of an instrument that was meant for him and he for it. His legacy will live forever and his inspiration to many others will go down in history.
