Buyers from outside of the UK:- We recognise that buying from a distance without trying or seeing can be worrying so we can sometimes agree to send guitars abroad on approval. However this must be specifically agreed in advance. Goods are not automatically sent on ’sale or return’. Sale or Return terms & conditions (applicable worldwide including U.K.):
The guitar, shipping and insurance costs must be fully paid for (and bank funds cleared) in advance. You will have plenty of time (up to 5 days) to try the guitar. If you choose to return it, you must pay the return shipping and insurance costs. When we have checked that the guitar has arrived back in exactly the same condition as when sent to you, we will refund the purchase price less any other costs such as initial cost of sending it to you, customs duties, taxes, bank charges, credit or debit card fees or losses on currency exchange in order for us to end up with a nil net cost scenario. In the unfortunate event of the guitar suffering any damage or deterioration, we reserve the right to make a reasonable deduction from the refund payment remembering that even fully repaired, the value can drop significantly. We would discuss this with you of course. It is worth remembering that insurance rarely covers damage like cracks or open seams caused by high humidity or drying out. However, by careful description and understanding your needs, we intend to send guitars that you are unlikely to want to return.
This facility may not be available on guitars which have been placed with us for commission sale / on consignment unless specific terms are agreeable with the owner.
Buyers within the UK:- We will not normally offer ‘Sale or Return’ or approval trials in the UK. You will be able to try instruments here for as long or as many times as you like. Once sold and paid for, instruments are non-returnable unless there is a genuine claim over faulty materials or workmanship. If you change your mind, we will be as helpful as we can to find a suitable exchange or alternative.
Our intention is to help you find the guitar that will give you lasting satisfaction and we want to delight you with our service. Equally we need to be sensible to avoid the uncertainties and financial disruption caused by change of heart.
