UK VAT returns to 17.5% from 1st January
From 1st of January 2010, UK VAT returned to 17.5%. Personally I expected it to go above 17.5% and still expect a further rate increase later in the year – after all, we are all going to have to pay sometime soon for the financial mess created in the banking world this year. Until the 20th of January 2010, we will discount all guitars priced below £2000 by 2.5% so that you pay a price as if the VAT were still 15%.
