This is another of a new series from Stephen Frith with further-refined sound and also enhanced details including very refined rosette and matching purfling. A very responsive, Hauseresque instrument, with influences from extensive study with José & Liam Romanillos. This one has a superb warm bass coming from the F body resonance, combined with a productive, well-balanced, interesting treble with clarity, sweetness and sustain. Stephen's guitars offer a wide range of sound from rich deep tasto to bright ponticellos and their projection is very effective. These are really very good instruments that stand well against many famed European makers, very comfortable to play and at a very competitive price.
