  • Comments:

Richard Newman is a maker new to the scene producing very persuasive instruments already. Made in traditional manner and style, they have seven fan-struts, generally as Torres. The workmanship and finish is very pleasing and most importantly, they have refined musical qualities. No doubt the design details will develop with each batch until every aspect of the guitar's physical personality is settled. In the meantime these totally hand-crafted instruments are a very good buy with refinement and sublety at a price below many mass-produced student instruments.
