  • Year:

    2006 - no 213, 'Hermione'

  • Body:

Indian rosewood with straight, stripey grain and Philip's decorative twist motif in the centre back.

  • Front:

European spruce with even, silky grain and his well-recognised rosette.

  • Tuners:

    Schaller with ebony buttons

  • Scale:

    65cm

  • Neck Width:

    52 mm at the nut

  • Condition:

With a really tiny amount of little marks, this guitar is nearly as new and very attractive.

  • Comments:

This is quite a potent, slightly small-bodied instrument that has some depth (G air resonance) and quickness in the release of sound - which is one of the benefits of smaller body. The sound is round, clear, projecting and with a rather good balance. For someone preferring a slightly smaller body, with normal-sized fingerboard and nothing small in the sound department, this is a very appealing guitar
