The 205 is the top of the current range from Paco Castillo. The choice of woods is high and the level of refined decoration reflects the position in the range.
The sound of the cedar guitar is big and bold with a lot of warmth. The air resonance below F# sets the scene in terms of depth and weight of sound in the bass and middle registers. The treble is full, rounded and not drowned out by the bass. The overall character is Spanish and reminiscent of some of the better Madrid guitars or even the cedar tones of some Fletas.
Quite capable of embarassing many guitars at double the price .... seriously.
