  • Comments:

Although Marcelino refers to this guitar as a copy, it may be more accurate to say it is based on a particular 1864 Torres which Marcelino has had good access to. The colours of some of the decorative details are different from the original but the body shape, dimensions, weight and strutting details are said to be very close to the original. It really is a delight to hold and play and reminds me how much depth of sound smaller-bodied guitars can have. The sound is rounded, smooth and with a lovely depth of bass.
